These are some examples of the knives I've made through the years. |
Damascus Neckers
Damascus made of 1030 and 5160
2.7" blade (cutting edge) 6.25" overall length. 3/16"
(4.7mm) thick in the center and getting slightly thiner towards the
ends for better balance. Lanyard hole. Sheath is handstitched cow
leather. |
Coppered Damascus Stag
5.5" blade (1/4" thick), 10.5" overall length. Handle
was made from red deer stag and the bolster is polished leather and
acetate. Pommel is coppered damascus. Sheath is handstitched cow leather. |
Integral Damascus Fighter
Damascus made of 1030 and 1085.
6.25" blade (including bolster), 11" overall length. Double
hollow grind that turns into a double convex grind at the tip for
extra strenght. Handle was made from Padouk (African Vermillion) and
it has finger grooves and droplets of transparent poliurethane for
a better and secure grip. Sheath is handstitched cow leather. |
Small Utility
D2, differentially hardened, satin finish. I made this using stock
removal, it's not forged.
3.15" blade, 7" overall length. Handle was made from layers
of Caoba (Mahogany) and Guatambu (Pau Marfim), with bolster and butt
made of Brass. Sheath is handstitched cow leather. |
Integral Criollo
Hand forged, diferentially hardened 9260.
4.5" blade, 9" overall length. Handle was made from layers
of Caoba (Mahogany) and Guatambu (Pau Marfim), and this particular
handle was painted black with an aerograph on the top and the bottom,
and then laqued with transparent poliurethane. Sheath is handstitched
cow leather. |
A Very Special Damascus
Damascus made of 5160 and 1030 with some 1085 cable on the holes/details,
filled with copper.
4" blade, 8.25" overall length. Handle was made from a red
wood called "Quebracho" and I placed a 3/4" diameter
cable inside a copper pipe and then I filled it up with melted brass.
Bolster is brass and sheath is handstitched leather cow. |
Large Criollo Knife
Hand forged 9260, hammered finish.
12" blade, 15.5" overall length. Handle was made from rosewood,
and it's carved, with bolster in stainless steel. Sheath is handstitched
cow leather, with details and belt clip also in stainless steel. |
Glassy Damascus
Damascus (1070 and 52100) from a motorcycle distribution chain.
3.5" blade, 7" overall length. Handle was made from a copper
pipe covered with colored glass in several layers and it has a semiprecious
stone (Tiger's Eye) on the butt. Sheath is handstitched cow hide. |
Rustic Hunter
Hand forged 5160, rustic finish.
6" blade, 11" overall length. Handle was made of antelope
stag, with brass and wood bolsters and a coin on the butt. Sheath
is hand stitched black cow leather. |
Criollo Knife
Hand forged 5160, differentially hardened, satin finish.
7.5" blade, 12" overall length. Handle was made from rosewood
and it has copper and stainless steel details and staniless steel
pommel, with a wood insert. Sheath is handstitched cow leather and
rosewood, with details in stainless steel and brass. |
Damascus Skinner / Hunter
Damascus (52100 from ball bearings, 1085 and 1010)
3.5" blade, 7.5" overall length. Handle was made with micarta
(also made by me) with a copper and alpacca metal mokume detail. The
hilt was made with the same mokume with a punched spot showing the
different layers of the two metals. Sheath is hand stitched cow leather
with sheephide inserts. |
Small Ball Bearings Damascus
Damascus (52100, 1010 and 1085)
3" blade, 7" overall length. Handle was made from deer stag,
and it has a small brass coin in the butt. Guard and bolster are
also brass and the spacer is leather. Sheath is handstitched cow
leather.

Chain and Bone Damascus Drop Point
Damascus (1070 and 52100) from a motorcycle distribution chain.
4.75" blade, 9.5" overall length. Handle was made with cotton
linen micarta with a polished cow bone as butt. Guard and "skull
crusher" are also made with the same chain I used to forge the
blade. Sheath is handstitched cow leather. |
Big Fighter
Hand forged 9260, differentially hardened, satin finish.
10" blade, 16" overall length. Handle was made of deer stag
with some layers of wood and rubber near the hilt. The hilt itself
is brass with some simple work. Sheath is hand stitched cowhide for
belt carry. |
Coppered Damascus Drop Point
Damascus (1030 and 1085) plated in copper with a galvanic process
technique.
3.5" blade, 8" overall length. Handle was made with laqued
maple with a copper bolster covered with glassified powder enamel
in several colors. The spacer between the bolster and handle is cow
leather, as well as the sheath, made for cross carry. |

Hand forged 52100, differentially hardened, satin finish.
3.5" blade, 7.5" overall length. Handle was made with deer
stag and as an old coin in the butt. Sheath is handstitched cow leather. |
Small Damascus Drop Point
Damascus (1030 and 1085)
3.5" blade, 7.5" overall length. Handle is polished and
colored deer stag with a copper bolster covered with colored glass
in several layers to make the patterns. Butt of the handle has a small
translucid Tiger's Eye stone. Sheath is hand stitched cow leather. |

6" blade, 11" overall length. Handle was made from rosewood
and red deer stag with brass details. Sheath is handstitched cow
leather and sheephide. |

and colored deer stag. Sheath is hand stitched cow leather. |
Cable Damascus Necker
Cable damascus (1085)
4" blade, 7.25" overall length. Sheath was made from hand
stitched high resistance plastic and it has a belt buckle for IWB
carry. |
