These are some examples of the knives I've made through the years. |
San Mai Necker
San Mai damascus from 1085 and stainless 304 with a 52100 hard core.
Almost 2" blade, 5" overall length. Handle in axis deer
stag with a copper guard and a black micarta spacer. Cable damascus
and copper mosaic pin in the butt end. Hand stitched leather sheath. |
San Mai Kitchen Knife
San Mai damascus from 1070 and 1010 with a 52100 core.
6" blade, 11" overall, 4mm thick (5/32") Handle in
damascus, palo santo and black and white acetate. Hand made leather
sheath. |
Damascus Fairbain Sykes Dagger
Damascus from O1 and nickel steel from another knifemaker.
7 1/2" blade, 13" overall length. Handle in black dyed maple.
Guard and butt piece in damascus from 1085 and 1030 and pommel in
mokume. Handmade leather sheath with an outter layer of surubi (river
fish) skin. |
Small Persian - Collaboration with Ruben Calo
San Mai damascus from 1010 and 1070 with a 52100 core.
6 3/4" blade, integral bolster included. Almost 12" overall
length. Handle in "aged" axis deer, with middle spacer in
nickel silver and fiber. Bolster, pommel and fittings in hand filed
sterling silver with details in "tumbaga" (simil gold) Hand
made leather sheath with sterling silver flower details. |
Two Damascus Neckers
These are two damascus blades I've made so another artisan could put
some handles on them.
Overall length is 7" and the San Mai is 1085 and 1010 with an
O1 core. The other one is 1030 and O1. |
